Jack was a level 3 motorsport student from The College of West Anglia.  After speaking to his tutors at the college we learned he was always keen to get the experience he needed to compliment his education at the college.  He was selected to take part in one of the Student Motorsport projects after recommendation from the college and started on our project in July 2013 as a general support crew member working with United Autosports.

At United Autosports he helped in the running of an Audi R8 GT3 race car which was entered into the Blancpain 24 hour Endurance Series at Spa Belgium.

Jack told us: "The whole experience was a highlight, learning firsthand how a professional team operates was fascinating.  Working with Student Motorsport streamlined and effective..." Jack Howling

After working hard to improve his motorsport skills and gain experience whist working with United Autosports he was able to secure a role at the college he studied at as a motorsport technician and has gone from strength to strength in his career.  Jack has since secured a role with the United Autosports after his trip to Spa, and has worked with the team on their Ginetta programme and currently is part of the BTCC team.

"Taking part in the project helped me to see the real importance of professionalism and the effect it has on the teams appearance and operating efficiency." Jack Howling
