"I think very shortly management saw that actually the students gained so much from the Competition, it became a great attraction for the course. It's added such value to our theoretical elements that we were able to develop parts of the course and build them around what we were teaching on track. Over the years we’ve learned more about the logistics, the costings and we actually share all of that with the students so they’re not just learning the practicalities of how to fix a race car, they’re learning how you run a race team."
"Taking part in Student Motorsport has given our students the chance to develop and embed the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom into a real motor racing environment. Our team members have formed the professional relationships needed to work as part of a race team, this is the road for our future Motorsport Technicians."
"Being part of Student Motorsport is fantastic, the experience that the students gain is exceptional. We’ve seen students go on to study at university, and others go on to work in Formula 2, the Rallycross Mini Cooper Championship and running historic F1 cars around the world. Our involvement in Student Motorsport has, in many cases, made a significant difference to the further success of our learners.”
DRIVING FUTURES IN MOTORSPORT
Student Motorsport connects education with real-world racing. Our mission is simple — to accelerate careers, inspire innovation, and bridge the gap between the classroom and industry.
