We're dedicated to supporting institutions such as schools, UTC's, colleges and universities in delivering the right experience and opportunities to their students. Our website, community, resources and collaborative projects are designed to help institutions like yours further support their students in taking the right path to success. We recognise the importance of the work you do with young people, and are here to share and raise awareness of your fantastic curricular and motorsport activities. We'll support you in order to better prepare them for a career in the motorsport industry.
The team at Student Motorsport have experience in differing areas of motorsport education and the industry, this experience led to the development of our site and community which we hope will support visitors and our members. We aim to illustrate that there are a wide variety of ways to become involved within this exciting industry, you can share your motorsport activities and take advantage of opportunities for your students and graduates to work in a vast variety of fields that may not seem apparent on the surface. That said there are many important sectors and roles that make up the motorsport industry, some of which we believe we can help people better understand, experience and can excel in through Student Motorsport.
Increasing awareness of your motorsport, automotive or engineering curriculum and activities
We would like to invite your institution to become a valued member of our website and become part in our unique motorsport community. This will help bring you closer to your students, other institutions and your future students. Your presence on our site and contribution to the activities in our community cannot be over valued...we want to show the motorsport, automotive or engineering industries the great things institutions are achieving, including the valuable contribution you are making to the industry...your work deserves better recognition.
The additional awareness our site will bring to you will go to further supporting the students and graduates at your institution. Student Motorsport understands what can be done to better support your students, our website can help you to promote your endeavours and activities that you carry out as part of your study programmes. Education and motorsport work well hand in hand, but we need to ensure that continual support is provided to students and graduates as they make up a large majority of the motorsport industry.
Making a positive difference
If your institution has limited activity within the motorsport industry, our site is designed to help and advise you in developing in this area, we're all about we’re all about removing barriers and bringing the people interested in and working in motorsport closer together. Sharing the positive, successful and great things that institutions are doing for their students and graduates is one of our key aims. We strongly believe that it’s never too late to start promoting your institution, your activities however small and helping your students build a portfolio of experience to enrich their CV and career in motorsport. Through our site you can further help to develop and prepare your students to succeed in their future career in motorsport.
We understand that your institution, lecturers and support staff invest massive amounts time, effort and money whilst delivering motorsport and engineering related programmes, and it’s normal to worry about questions such as ‘how are our students going to secure a job when they graduate?’ and ‘are our graduates what race teams and the industry are looking for?’ This is why we are working hard to ensure students are able to build a portfolio of motorsport experience by taking part in activities that together complement their education and future career?
We urge your institution and students to take advantage of our resources in our motorsport community and network with the right kind of people who can help your students to develop themselves and a profile of experience. We cannot emphasise enough how important it is to remember that your students are the future of the motorsport industry, it needs young vibrant people to continue driving this an amazing industry forward.

Student Motorsport understands what institutions can do to ensure students have a better chance of securing employment in the motorsport, automotive or engineering industries when they graduate. We know how important it is to combine education, experience and networking opportunities to leverage success. Through these 'ingredients of success' your students can better develop themselves into what industry and its respective employers are looking for. We urge you to take advantage of our community and expose your institution to the right kind of people who can help you attract new students, add value to your existing programmes of study and department and help your students develop a profile of experience before and after they graduate.
We're actively pursuing and developing an already exciting catalogue of contacts within the motorsport industry such as educational bodies, businesses, motorsport professionals and industry specialists, these can provide your student with opportunities to gain experience in a vast range of motorsport and engineering related areas whilst they study. We aim to share and develop information and resources that will help you gain a better understanding of what the motorsport industry and its respective professionals expect when students and graduates are looking to acquire experience or work. We are dedicated to helping you and these people get the exposure to vital education, experience and networking opportunities so that they have relevant 'real life' motorsport experience.
We are proud to have placed students and graduates in our successful and carefully structured experience programmes and we're focused on continual development of this important area of our site. You can see some of the experience programmes and student and graduate success that we are proud of on our Success Stories page. We're continually looking to place graduates in experience programmes in positions such as Race Car Mechanic, Data Engineer, Race Car Engineer, Driver Coach, Team Operations & Logistics, Sponsorship, Hospitality, Media Relations, Driver & Lifestyle Coach and so on.
