Student Motorsport are proud to welcome Origin to our new website, we are collaborating with them to raise awareness of and support their entry into the F1 in Schools competition.  We're also aiming to share information on their activities, progress and success and inspire other pupils, our members, students, graduates and aspiring automotive and motorsport professionals.

What they do...

Affiliate - Origin - Main ImageOrigin are an F1 in Schools team who enter into the F1 in Schools competition.  They have set an aim of winning the World Finals in September 2018.  They are a team of four top students all studying engineering at Robert May's School in Hampshire and all have studied aerodynamics and manufacturing to a degree-level standard.  They have proven their ability by finishing 5th in the World Finals in 2017, and despite being a junior team they aim to build on this success by winning the 2018 competition.

How we're working together...

Affiliate - Origin - CompetitionStudent Motorsport and Origin are working together to raise awareness of the fantastic things that they and other pupils are achieving in the F1 in Schools competition.  We aim to reach out to potential sponsors who can support Origin in their competition entries.

We also aim to attract more pupils, students, graduate and professionals in the industry to showcase what young people are achieving and inspire the next generation of motorsport, automotive and engineering professionals.  We believe strongly in such STEM activities, and supporting young people in combining education, experience and networking ultimately leads to success, and the success that Origin are experiencing.
